With Kickoff time at 6:45, on Saturday nov 30th
the Faurot Field came alive for the showdown between Missouri Tigers and Texas
A and M. The first three quarters was a slow downplayed starter for key player
Franklin. The final quarter saw him step up his game and in end the better team
won. It was a significant win for Coach Gary
Pinkel. This was his 101st win for his team and that milestone
matched yup to legendary head coach Don Faurot. Little over 10 minutes left in
the game and both teams were tied at 21. Lead player Johnny Manziel was at his
best but James Franklin outplayed him completing 18 of 28 passes for 233 yards
and two touchdowns. Missouri stepped up their game in the third quarter and
sent everyone into a series of excitement. What I noticed was how consistent
Missouri was in their defense and Texas A and M were beaten matching up only in
the final quarter. It was a much deserved win for the tigers.
